Work you'll do:

• Architect and design robust web applications and microservices, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
• Design, version, publish, and integrate APIs, maintaining high standards of security and efficiency.
• Apply a strong understanding of Object-Oriented Principles, Java code standards, design patterns, and best practices in software development.
• Utilize expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, REST, SOAP services, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Design and oversee the implementation of both relational and non-relational databases, including Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Implement and manage API Gateways such as Apigee or Amazon API Gateway, with a focus on API security.
• Interpret business requirements to make informed architectural and design decisions.
• Estimate effort for changes and enhancements accurately.
• Provide architectural solutions for complex business requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment with project scope and direction.
• Decide on the platforms and coding standards to be used in project development.

Qualifications :

Requirements

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to work onsite 1-2 days per week.
• 5+ years of experience in software development using Java.
• 5+ years' experience in web application design and development.
• 5+ years of experience with architecting microservices, API design, versioning, and service integration.
• Proficient in Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, REST, SOAP services, and SOA.
• Experienced in database design and application usage of both relational and non-relational databases (preferably Oracle, Postgres, MySQL, and MongoDB).
• Proficient in using API Gateways (such as Apigee or Amazon API Gateway)
