Quality Systems Senior Supervisor is responsible for delivering strategic, enterprise-level risk management and audit services to assigned Business Units clients in accordance with all ISO9001/AS91xx quality management systems. Help Collins Aerospace continuously monitor compliance and proactively identify and mitigate operational risks at our 300+ sites in 46 countries worldwide.
This individual will work 100% remote.
Primary Responsibilities:
Lead, conduct, and plan internal Aerospace Quality Management System (AQMS) audits for compliance with the ISO9001 & AS91xx series of standards in support of all sites across Collins.
Perform all formal responsibilities of a lead auditor such as audit planning, representing the audit team with Collin’s site leadership, conducting opening and closing meetings and daily debriefs with management, completing an audit report, and issuing, reviewing, and approving formal corrective actions.
Assist Collin’s Certification Body (CB) during site surveillance and recertification audits. Assist in facilitating third-party CB audit schedules, logistics, and closure of corrective actions.
Conduct comprehensive audit preparation and planning based on historical and current performance data.
Support special audits and independent assessments as required by Collin’s business units, including training with Special Process auditors, etc.
Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and train others
Maintain a high-level of customer service, accuracy, thoroughness, and integrity within our industry-leading aerospace manufacturer that has safety as a first priority, is focused on the customer, and fosters continual improvement.
Must be willing and able to travel 60% of the time the first two years. Travel will then go to 25% after the first two years.
Basic Qualifications
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required
Prior experience in the Aerospace industry
Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior leadership experience
AQMS Proficiency including audits for compliance with the ISO9001 & AS91xx series of standards
CORE Professional certification including leading successful engagements
Past experience facilitating training
AS9100, AS9110 and AS9120 AEA certifications

This role is also eligible for the Re-Empower Program. Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
