Job Summary:
Raytheon is seeking an experienced professional with a strong and proven successful background in Supply Chain Management to fill a critical Material Program Manager (MPM) role within the Next Generation Jammer (NGJ) program. You will be asked to analyze, forecast, develop, and ultimately achieve program objectives in a matrix environment with cross-functional, program, and company leadership.
In this highly visible role, you’ll be the liaison between Supply Chain and Program teams, accountable for assigned materials provided by our supply base within the assigned product line. The supply base includes a mix of small-to-large businesses, and major subcontractors which manufacture high-level assemblies, various commodities, and low-to-high complexity materials. You will help mold our acquisition strategy and ensure that we meet contractual and customer expectations.
This position closely partners with Program Management, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Engineering, Quality, Factory Management, and several other functions to shape, develop, and execute the strategies and objectives of the product line. We work collaboratively to achieve cost, quality, and schedule goals to ensure the needs of the customer and warfighter are met.
This position is an onsite role.

Maintain and assess the integrity of the MRP environment and the programs’ schedule within that environment, while balancing inbound supply and demand requirements to allow for an executable schedule.
Overall ownership of the supplier and finance management process for parts under management (i.e., Risk/Opportunity, Line of Balance, Metrics, Material sales forecasts)
Assisting procurement with supplier Request for Proposals / Quotes (RFP/RFQ)
Proactively address and complete urgent supply chain tasks (Purchase Requisition integrity, Single/Sole Source Justifications, Supplier Statement of Work (SSOW), Purchase Order follow up, and by providing other pertinent direction to procurement to expedite the order and receipt of parts to support continuous production).
Willingness to travel to suppliers as required.

Qualifications We Prefer:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to relay program status, issues, and resolution plans across all major stakeholders; this includes but is not limited to Raytheon senior management, customers, and our supply base.
Ability to communicate and translate customer and product requirements to our supply base and conduct supplier engagements related to capability, capacity, cost, delivery schedule, opportunity, and risk.
Highly-motivated to take the initiative to solve program issues that may cross traditional supply chain lines. Must be able to succeed in high stress, fast-paced work environments that challenge critical and creative thinking skills.
Excellent leadership skills with experience in cross-functional teams and the ability to influence outside of your leadership chain.
Understanding of Factory and/or Production Control processes and the ability to assess and analyze Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data.
Ability to perform data analytics and perform scenario and what-if analysis to determine risk and mitigation strategies.
