The Practitioner Recruitment Coordinator (PRC) will recruit practitioners for a variety of medical and dental locations and providing Military Disability Exams for our service members and veterans. The PRC will proactively build professional relationships with Optum Serve team members and staffing agencies/vendors. They will communicate daily with subcontracted healthcare professionals and administrative staff as well as internal departments.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Dedicated Network Operations Manager(s), (DNOM) to identify needs for practitioners for Dedicated Sites (fixed, embedded, and mobile units)
- Recruit practitioners utilizing subcontracted provider agencies to identify candidates
- Perform candidate sourcing and pre-screening
- Analyze, qualify, and screen practitioner candidates
- Develop and maintain a ready pool of candidates through available sourcing means
- Create, build, and maintain a geographically accessible, stable, and quality network that achieves compliance and requested service fulfillment
- Maintain practitioner files, enter data into customized computer systems, and analyze and report on provider network needs and maintenance
- Assist with all steps of the required onboarding process for each initiative as well as maintenance of the Practitioner Network to include inactivating and temporarily inactivating practitioners based on business need
- Maintain records including pertinent communication and documentation in MedNet
- Screen potential candidates for necessary qualifications and determine if candidates' skill set meets Optum Serve's business needs
- Educate candidates on role requirements to ensure collaborative agreement and understanding of services
- Develop and manage relationships with vendors and vendor management and candidates.
- Build Practitioner shells in MedNet and work with the DNOM to select candidates. Once a candidate is selected the PRC will move the candidate to Credentialing and complete all necessary steps to teams who will complete candidate onboarding.
- Accurately complete daily, weekly, and monthly reporting requirements
- Act as an advocate for innovative, customer-centric and consistent experiences
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers across all channels of communication

Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of recruiting experience and/or applicable military experience
- 1+ years of related experience (provider relations, network management, customer service or negotiations)
- Knowledge of support procedures in a business environment, such as word processing, managing files and record keeping, other office procedures and terminologies
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
Preferred Qualifications:
- National Career Readiness Certificate
- Subcontracting experience
- Healthcare Practitioner recruiting experience
- Database experience/education
- Proven excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to influence and communicate through the use of interpersonal means with a diverse group of people/disciplines
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, flexible and adaptable to changing situations, and demonstrate an appropriate level of assertiveness in performing work responsibilities and in making work-related decisions
- Proven ability to prioritize tasks with minimal direction and work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy; solid analytical thinking; multi-tasking, organizational, and time management skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $23.41 to $41.83 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
