Job Details
VCA team is looking for an individual to join our consulting practice and play a key role developing high impact projects for Visa’s clients in Brazil supporting VCA’s Risk vertical. This position will be based in Brasilia, Brazil. The potential candidate will be responsible for managing and extracting insights from vast amounts of data (including clients’ and/or VisaNet), performing analysis of trends, finding key insights based on transactional information, developing of dashboards statistical models, which will address key strategic needs for Visa’s clients including issuers, acquirers and merchants. The candidate will be responsible for leading and executing risk consulting projects, applying best practices and market innovations. The role focuses on delivering optimal risk-return strategies, ensuring value creation and alignment with client objectives.
Specific Responsibilities include:
- Lead consulting initiatives and contribute to closing engagements by identifying potential opportunities with clients.
- Engage in regular strategic & planning discussions, cultivate and manage a pipeline of analytic work.
- Develop analytical frameworks, approaches, solutions and data-led strategies that address impactful opportunities and challenges.
- Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., marketing, products, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa’s resources.
- Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues, and provide strategic mentorship for client priorities.
- Build new scalable solutions, toolkits, standard methodology documents, and consulting approaches that can be applied across VCA practices.
- Lead team to provide knowledge sharing, coaching and training as well as across functional teams and or regions in the role as an analytics subject matter expert.
- Oversee multiple workstreams + project delivery, meeting objectives and timelines.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistic, or related fields
- Over 10 years of proven experience in the financial industry, with solid expertise in credit risk and data analyzes
- In-depth knowledge of credit risk and strong understanding of operational and strategic processes for risk mitigation.
- Ability to monitor, analyze, and act upon performance indicators and internal controls
- Strategic vision and strong analytical thinking.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
- Proactive approach in identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- In-depth knowledge of credit and fraud prevention policies.
- Expertise in customer and market segmentation strategies.
- Strong understanding of operational and strategic processes for risk mitigation.
- Proficiency in tools and technologies for credit risk assessment and fraud detection.
- Ability to monitor, analyze, and act upon performance indicators and internal controls.
- Strategic vision and strong analytical thinking.
- Fully bilingual Portuguese / English
