Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Life Cycle Engineering consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our Life Cycle Engineering disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability System Safety and Supportability.
What You Will Do:
The Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP) is an acquisition program’s plan that details the steps, actions, and responsibilities of the fielding and successful deployment of a fully manned, trained, and supported material system that meets all user objectives. As a Material Fielding Plan Developer, you will be responsible for creating and managing comprehensive material fielding plans that ensure efficient deployment and utilization of materials across various projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, supply chain teams, and other stakeholders to optimize material flow and minimize costs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement detailed material fielding plans tailored to project requirements.
Analyze project specifications to identify material needs and timelines.
Coordinate with SMEs and customer to develop a plan that will be used for timely delivery of materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align material strategies with project goals.
Prepare reports and presentations for cost and schedule updates
Stay current with industry trends and best practices to enhance material fielding processes.
Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum (three) 3 years experience
Three (3) years of experience in material management, logistics, or a similar role
Experience being the single contact for existing and future contracts for USG program office(s).
Experience leading, speaking and interacting with groups with SMEs from a wide range of fields, customers, and end users
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience in life cycle engineering principles and PATRIOT weapon system
Experience with developing Material Fielding Plans and customer facing engagement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
