Skills and Competencies
•  1-3 years of exposure to banking, credit and/or financial industry
•  Strong quantitative skills and ability to translate analysis into actionable tasks
•  Strong Excel skills 
•  Working knowledge of RDBMS (Relational Database Management Systems) concepts
•  Working knowledge of SSRS, Crystal Reports or JasperReports is a plus
•  Working knowledge of SQL (query), VBA, and/or Python is preferred
•  Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage ambiguity
•  Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team with professionals at all levels

Education
•  Undergraduate or graduate degree with emphasis in finance, economics, accounting, math, computer science or related quantitative field
•  Background in structured finance or consumer loan servicing preferred

Responsibilities
•  Work in conjunction with other members of the MA Issuer Solution implementation team to implement and configure ABS Suite and related products
•  Theoretical understanding of advanced financial concepts, swap payments, reconciliations, caps, floors
•  Participation in the creation cashflow modelling for structured finance
•  Facilitate use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design and/or implement securitization products and services
•  In conjunction with other team members, participate in client meetings and due diligence sessions with responsibility to document business requirements
•  Provide input on client requirements to senior team member as well as the product management team 
•  Developing and building reports using Crystal Reports, SSRS, JasperReports 
•  Develop business requirements, design and execute SQL queries, and test solutions to ensure they meet client requirements
•  Support clients by answering business related questions with the applications
•  Assist the team on technical presentations and travel as needed to client sites for on-site visits

About the team
The Professional Services team provides for the implementation of Moody’s Analytics’ Issuer tools and Solutions. This may include customization of the solutions, as well as development of bespoke solutions, on-site installation, configuration and training services. We contribute to Moody’s by providing a product to the structured finance industry that fulfills the specialized requirements of securitization program administrators and issuers of asset backed securities.  This product has become the industry standard over the past two decades and represents a critical piece of Moody’s portfolio offerings to the structured finance industry as it not only provides invaluable utility to our clients, but also introduces Moody’s to organizations with needs in other sectors we serve.By joining our team, you will be introduced to the structured finance industry and work with client issuers in both front and back office operations.  From a business perspective, you will gain exposure to a wide range of asset classes and structured finance transaction structures.  From a technology perspective you will work with cutting edge data and analytics technology
