We are looking for a Computer Science intern to join our R&D Quality Engineering Test Automation team. The SIMULIA Quality Engineering team consists of a dynamic cohort of software testing specialists with a diversity of skills and backgrounds. Each member on the team brings his/her expertise and unique perspective to testing our Simulation products and technologies. 

We are seeking an 3DEXPERIENCE Simulation Apps Test Automation Developer intern to join our team and help us define and develop innovative solutions that enhance daily operations for our SIMULIA R&D group. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing robust, reliable JavaScript-based automated workflow tests for our 3DEXPERIENCE Simulation Apps running on Windows. You will work with a global team of test automation developers as well as Quality Engineers and Application software developers to define, develop and test new test scripts as well as to update and maintain existing test scripts. Test scripts will cover end-to-end functional Simulation workflows to be executed on supported test configurations. This is a chance to work on an innovative key project that will significantly improve our regression testing capabilities. 

In this role you will be expected to:  

• Report directly to the SIMULIA Software Quality Engineering Director and work closely and under close mentoring with the Test Automation development team 
• Learn the fundamentals of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and Simulation applications and supported configurations 
• Help drive the collection of necessary information needed to define requirements from key stakeholders 
• Assist in the define, development and testing of new robust and reliable JavaScript test scripts and update and maintain existing test scripts 
• Report issues discovered and validate software fixes in a timely manner
• Track, and report progress to your management chain verbally and through weekly status reports 
• Develop and verbally present progress of your contributions to key stakeholders

We are seeking a positive and ambitious team-oriented person with the following qualifications: 

• Pro-active communicator with very excellent verbal and written English language skills 
• Detailed oriented self-starter with strong follow-up skills • Enjoy problem solving and applying critical thinking skills with a passion to learn • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript (required): You must be proficient in JavaScript, as it will be the primary language for development. Experience and comfort in Python is also desired. 
• Experience working with API (Application Programming interface) 
• Experience working with a Source Code Management system is desirable 
• Familiarity with any of the following is a plus: • High Performance Computing (HPC) cloud technologies 
• Software Testing concepts 

• 3D Modeling & Simulation, 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
