The Finance Lead will be responsible for driving financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes within the BTS Finance Information Security and Risk Management (ISRM) group. This pivotal role offers opportunities to develop financial and analytical skills while collaborating closely with BTS ISRM leadership.
The Finance Lead will partner with senior leaders to deliver timely, insightful analytical reports for monthly and quarterly reviews, support operational planning, and manage critical ad-hoc projects. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, able to efficiently manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of the planning processes (Plan/LBE/LRP) by ensuring deliverables are accurate, clear and concise for management review and approval
- Perform monthly close activities, including headcount reporting and variance analysis. Prepare monthly management packages with key stories and issues highlighted.
- Responsible for tracking full P&L budgets for ISRM. Analyze monthly actual results, comparing them against benchmarks (Plan/LBEs) to identify risks and opportunities.
- Fulfill all financial reporting requirements for the Business Group, BTS HQ, and Corporate, ensuring compliance with corporate and business policies and procedures.
- Partner with Business Vice President and the business leads to understand business needs and deliver accurate, meaningful financials that provide business insights.
- Lead ad hoc analyses, projects, and ongoing process improvement initiatives.
- Leads financial reviews and approvals (purchase order requests and invoices)
- Supports key projects and initiatives (e.g. management reporting and optimization) and drives process improvements.
- Remain open to feedback, experimentation, and learning opportunities.
- 5–6 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, CMA, or MBA is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently, act as a self-starter, and proactively address issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of management.
- Proven ability to identify and drive process improvements and cultivate a mindset of continuous improvement and adaptability.
- Experience with financial planning systems such as BIP, BPC, SAP, and SRM.
