Summary:
In this role, as an HR Director, you will serve as a trusted and strategic business partner and coach, ensuring a deep understanding of the people needs and business requirements of assigned business areas. You will collaborate with business leaders and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver effective solutions that align employees and equip them to achieve business results. The HR Director should have deep business acumen, a solid understanding of HR and a proven track record of delivering high-impact results. This individual must be strategic and business-focused, providing the organization clarity and direction related to people strategies.
Responsibilities:
Understand conditions and trends in the business and effectively develop and deliver strategies to address these issues.
Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Ensure consistent and operationally excellent service delivery by collaborating with HR Centers of Expertise (Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Change Management, etc.) to provide integrated and effective services to the organization.
Work closely with senior management and employees to improve work relationships, strengthen morale and increase productivity and retention.
Support efforts to enhance bench strength and retention of key talent through succession planning, career development, leadership development and teambuilding initiatives. Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.
Provide guidance and input on organizational design, workforce planning and succession planning.
Lead talent management discussions as a way to identify organizational capabilities required to ensure a long-term successful implementation of business strategies.
Participate in strategic talent acquisition planning and recruitment activities.
Qualifications:
Relevant degree preferred. Human Resources, Business, or related field.
7 or more years of relevant experience required.
Knowledge and experience in building team effectiveness.
Skilled with change processes in complex systems, conflict resolution and group dynamics.
Strong written, interpersonal, presentation, communication, and group facilitation skills.
Ability to work in a matrix environment supporting multiple business units.
Demonstrated experience interacting with COE's and senior business leaders.
Excellent leadership, influence, and negotiation skills.
Strong diagnostic skills and conceptual abilities.
Very high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:
At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $194,200.00.This position is also incentive eligible.
