We're seeking someone to join our team as an Information Governance/Data Lifecycle Management VP in the Data Governance & AI Non-Financial Risk team to support the Information Management team in assisting first line teams execute the information management and data governance strategy while serving as a key escalation point for complex Data Lifecycle Management (DLM) matters such as record classification, retention, archive and disposal planning.
In the Legal & Compliance division, we assist the Firm in achieving its business objectives by facilitating and overseeing the Firm's management of legal, regulatory and franchise risk. This is a Vice President level position within the Information Management team, which is responsible for defining and overseeing execution of the Firm's information management strategy.

What you’ll do in the role:
Serve as an intermediate escalation point for Data Lifecycle Management inquiries and offer guidance to stakeholders and DLM team members to resolve complex issues efficiently.
Monitor the global Data Lifecycle Management team performance, production and throughput, analyzing progress toward achieving quarterly and annual performance goals and ensuring timely delivery and accurate metrics reporting to Information
Management leadership and internal stakeholders.
Ensure timely and accurate communication of Firm retention policies, disposal timelines, and system decommissioning requirements.
Act as a liaison between business units, governance teams, and the Information Management organization at large helping interpret policy and escalate complex cases when necessary.
Ensure processes and controls that are required to ensure ongoing compliance and ensure that their implementation is appropriately tracked.
Assist in the creation of information management processes and procedures together with business units and risk governance counterparts
> Leading continuous improvement and collaborating to deliver new products and solutions
> Conducting awareness training with functional leaders, team leaders, system owners, and service owners.
What you'll bring to the role:
6+ years' experience in the financial services industry in data/information governance or compliance, records management, and supervisory experience.
Advanced understanding of records management principles and retention schedules
Bachelor’s degree
Detail-oriented with the ability to interpret policy documents.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability act with autonomy and manage multiple requests and prioritize effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams).
Ability to interact with senior management and drive client satisfaction
