Inclusion in Cannabis

Amplifying Black Excellence

According to a 2019 survey by Marijuana Business Daily, 37 percent of cannabis executives are women, ranking higher than the 21 percent national average of women in executive roles in any business. However, despite these stats, cannabis is still dominated by white men and this does not seem to be improving. To discuss this "growing" field, we are joined by entrepreneurs and activists Shellise Rogers and Mskindness B. Ramirez. Shellise Rogers also known as Sistah Rogers, the Business Auntie ™ is a first-generation Caribbean American and Native New Yorker with thirteen years of experience in Corporate Financial Accounting, Management Consulting, and Government Relations. Cannabis Industry Veteran & Master Educator Mskindness B. Ramirez, leads with both a given name and a calling. She is the CEO of Club Kindness, a representative media network built to educate families, foster connections and sustain communities for social change. And the Founder of EBK Apothecary, an organic hemp-derived CBD line established in 2016.
