Destigmatized: Visible and invisible Disabilities and Neurodivergence

Talks about: neurodiversity, remote & hybrid work

Shawanna Rouse

Bridget Finkeldey

Hi, I’m Shawanna. I’m a Black, Queer and Autistic woman. I’m the daughter of a first generation degree holder and a mechanic, and I'm the granddaughter of a sharecropper and Pentecostal preacher. I’m also the future mom of twins with my wife of 7 years—she’s my everything. I’m resilient and optimistic. I’d like to think that my turbulent formative years and windy career path helped me recognize what truly matters and has given me a strong foundation in faith. Oh, and career: my background is in the Customer Support and Trust & Safety industries and I’ve been a people leader for 20 years. Right now, I lead the Integrity Review Operations team within Global Operations at Meta.
