This position will be based in our EnerSys Advanced Systems (EAS) Space line of business, which will be part of a team delivering international space missions for satellites, launchers, and interplanetary vehicles. The company works with both national and international space agencies like NASA and European Space Agency as well as working across the commercial marketplace supporting missions that include Earth observation, internet of things (IoT) satellite constellations and global positioning and navigation systems. This is a role that can truly be said to impact people across the globe.

Job Summary
The CABC Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end project management support to Bid Development activities. The CABC Project Manager will report to the Head of Business Development and integrate across the business functions working closely with the PMO team and with Sales Team colleagues to achieve Sales targets. The CABC Project Manager will work well within a multi-disciplinary team, to ensure on-time and on-quality delivery of bid documentations, Project support, statements of compliance and discuss programmatic items with the customer. The candidate will have a keen interest in Project Management working on space projects. The candidate will be expected from time to time to travel globally to customer sites and related events as required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.
- Supporting CABC Bid Writers with Project Management inputs.
- Support Scheduling activities.
- Integration with the wider PMO community and operating practices.
- Generation and completion of statements of compliance
- Adherence to process Gates.
- Support Project Estimates and Sales pipeline reviews.
- Contribution to project handover from the bid team to operations/delivery teams.
- Communication on project specific matters to customers.
- Supports department level process management documentation.
- Supports continuous improvement and best practice.
- Supporting Development & Growth in line with Core values.
Qualifications
Working towards or attained APMP qualifications
Knowledge / Experience
Required
- Strong Co-ordination and Prioritization skills.
- Good level of IT skills, presentations, and reporting.
- Scheduling skills
- Experience in estimating and financial control
- Experience in Bid Negotiation
- Team player
Desirable
- Knowledge or Experience working with space industry primes.
- Experience in some of the following areas:
- MSP or similar
- Contractual reviews and Negotiations
- Financial Estimating & Reporting
- Knowledge and understanding of ECSS standards.
