- Add new services coordinated into the onboarding process to expedite the onboarding velocity for our merchants.
- Design, document and implement new systems, as well as improvements and modifications to existing software with code that aligns with design specifications and meets security and Java standard methodologies.
- Interact with both business and technical partners to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology.
- Have a passion for delivering zero defect code and be responsible for ensuring the team's work meet or exceed business expectations.
- Find opportunities for product innovation and strive for improvements to best practices, standards and processes.
- Mentor junior developers to ensure work are timely with good code quality.
- Coordinate Continuous Integration activities, testing automation frameworks and other related items in addition to contributing core product code.
- Present technical solutions, capabilities, considerations, and features in business terms.
- Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or related technical field required with 1+ years of experience as a .Net and React developer.
Development experience in building Microservices, specifically with HTTP, REST, JSON and XML.
Experience in React or Advanced Java Script,GIT, Maven, Jenkins or such build automation tools, Relational or NoSQL database
Strong analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative software development lifecycle principles.
Previous experience with financial services/payments processing experiences a huge plus.
