Skills and Competencies
- Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze content data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of content and make data-driven decisions.
- Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing large-scale content development projects, including planning, execution, and evaluation.
- Quality Assurance: Experience in creating and standardizing QA processes for content to ensure high-quality output.
- Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team of content developers.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey content objectives and outcomes to stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and continuously improve content to meet evolving requirements.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with various content creation tools and platforms.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree or certifications in Content Development or Learning and Development (preferred).
Responsibilities
This role supports our internal content development function. This function is responsible for creating content in support of programs and initiatives managed by other learning teams within the same organization. A successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and has strong organizational and operational expertise. While directing a team, this individual will also need to work across other departments within Talent Development to efficiently and effectively manage content creation.
- Lead the content development team and manage the pipeline of content development projects.
- Create and standardize QA processes for all content to ensure consistency and quality.
- Establish standard ways of working and best practices for content development.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure content aligns with program objectives and initiatives.
- Ensure standardized operational practices, including robust QA processes.
- Perform self-audits on the efficacy of existing content and configurations.
- Standardize output to create a consistent experience for learners consuming the content.
