In this role the Sr. Lead Engineer will actively participate in Landing Gear Product Design, Drawing, Sustaining Engineering, In-Service Engineering, and MRB Engineering activities
Position: Senior Lead Engineer (P3)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the deliverables meeting the expected quality and on time delivery
- Maintain and develop a positive relationship with customers & other functional groups
- Collaborate with the customer and different departments to ensure completion of the assigned task
- Responsible for compliance to Global trade requirements
- Adherence to quality management process and procedures
Skill Sets:
- Sound knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals, especially in design, materials, manufacturing processes and special processes.
- Strong drawing reading, visualization, and interpretation skills.
- Hands on experience in Catia V5 3D modeling, assembly, & manufacturing drawing preferred.
- Hands-on experience to PLM Tool Teamcenter is preferred.
- Attention to details is paramount.
- Familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5-1994 or later) and Tolerance Stack-up.
- Awareness of Landing gear functioning would be preferred.
- Exposure to various materials and processes used in Landing Gear.
- Prior experience on MRB work would be a plus.
- Experience in providing dispositions for landing gear parts or mechanical components for production and overhaul would be a plus.
- Exposure to Hydromechanical Product Testing would be preferred.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for interfacing across disciplines (Design, Stress, Materials, etc.).
- Committed to meeting and exceeding business expectations with integrity.
- Capable of working in high-pressure environments
Basic Qualification:
- Qualification: BE / B-Tech / ME / M-Tech Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering
- Desired Experience: 6-8 Years
