- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- 15 years of experience in engineering
- Experience delivering security solutions
- Experience in compute hardware architecture, data center infrastructure, and software design and implementation to maximize fleet performance and uptime
- Experience working cross-functionally, partnering with groups such as Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Product Marketing, UX, and UI, and brokering trade offs with stakeholders
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or other Engineering discipline
- Ability to promote product excellence and collaboration
- Ability to stay up-to-date on the industry with historical context, while working to push the industry forward
- Entrepreneurial and strategic mindset, growing at the intersection of technology and business
As a Principal Engineer for Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), you will have a focus on delivering and operating a highly available, cost-optimized data center infrastructure at speed and scale by leveraging your technical expertise. In this capacity, you will support a variety of engineering leaders across multiple teams and locations. This role is critical to the support of new product launches through their lifecycle from planning, modeling, deploying, maintaining, upgrading, and decommissioning.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $278,000-$399,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
