Job Description
Minimum Qualifications
- Up to 4+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent is required with hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing.
- Successful engineering and deployment of enterprise-grade technology products in an Agile environment.
- Large scale software product engineering experience with contemporary tools and delivery methods in a complex environment (i.e. DevOps, CD/CI, Agile, etc.).
- Hands-on delivery experience in the in-memory frameworks and fundamental components of the assigned portfolio’s primary technology stack(s) (some of them include Java/J2EE, NodeJS, Python, Big Data Technologies, Apache Flink, Apache Beam, SingleStore, No-SQL Databases, Relational Databases, JSON, XML, REST, Kafka etc.).
- Experience in jobs orchestration using Airflow and Automic.
- Analyze, debug and fix the Apache Beam and Flink data pipelines orchestration, quality and performance.
- Highly proficient in SQL and PL/SQL.
- Hands-on delivery experience in the high-performance enterprise grade APIs and microservices using multiple architectural and design patterns.
- Experience as a leader within a Technology organization and/or in a product development company with experience that compliments the software product portfolio etc.
- Creation of Engineering Best Practices adopted by a large segment of the technology organization.
- Creation of tools or other technologies that become integral to the operation of the platform.
- Successful assimilation of new technology into an existing technology stack.
- Outstanding influential and collaboration skills; ability to drive consensus and tangible outcomes, demonstrated by breaking down silos and fostering cross communication process.
- Technical expertise related to the core components of the Technology Platform’s tech stack, as well as delivery optimization techniques in a ‘total dev’ continuous delivery environment.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external business partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledgeable and experienced with in-memory computation and data virtualization tools & techniques.
- Knowledge of GCP, Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience in memory first databases like SingleStore.
- Experience with DevOps tools, automating engineering and operational tasks.
- Experience with a broad range of software languages and Financial business domain knowledge will be a plus.
Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $150,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
