Mission Statement:
Primary responsible for strategic sourcing of your assigned factory. This includes ensuring material quality, material availability, delivery performance and cost competitiveness. Review regularly the demand and supply balance to anticipate changes. Manage assigned spend with sourcing strategies to establish a resilient and sustainable sourcing strategy to meet targets on quality, total cost of ownership and supply performance. Focus on direct material management with end-to-end responsibility from sales bidding process to invoice payments.
Your Responsibilities:
Set yearly budgets (spend, cost reduction, payment terms etc.) for your factory in line with HUB Supply Chain Manager and respective category strategies.
Support and implement HUB sourcing strategy in the factory by providing input (complementing P&F) to factory requirements to the RfQ and margin improvement processes.
Translate local material planning and logistics requirements (MOQ, packaging, communication processes) into service level agreements with suppliers.
Engage actively in spend management (correct input in SAP etc.).
Execute and deliver on agreed strategy deployment actions and follow-up responsible functions and other stakeholders.
Align and deliver targets with focus on safety, quality, timely delivery and cost.
Regularly report financial performance and supply performance.
Actively engage in sales and operations planning (S&OP) by providing input on critical material definition phase and material supply capabilities.
Lead/support the commodity hedging process in line with factory controller.
Act promptly on issues escalated according to escalation matrix.
Own factory cost reduction, cost avoidance, claim recovery reporting and SCM performance tracking.
Ensure contractor's qualification (CCQP) according to procedures and regulation.
Lead supplier qualification for your factory. Conduct Supplier Performance Evaluations (SPE). Oversee the supplier relationship with regular review contract execution, supply performance, improvement activities and future.
Act as second level escalation resolution owner on PO management and delivery to pay processes.
Lead supplier qualification for the factory and perform risk assessments.
Plan and assign audits to Supply Quality & Development Engineers. Scout and research new suppliers.
Apply and implement SCM standards, tools and processes in the area of responsibility.
Work closely with other functions to initiate, promote and support projects execution in order to bring value on total cost of ownership, risk mitigation, quality, cash, lead time, material availability.
Implementation of material cost reduction and risk mitigation projects.

Your Background:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the disciplines: finance, supply chain, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, production management or similar.
8+ years of relevant experience in supply chain management or operation management.
Experience from transformer or automotive industry is a plus.
Proven skills in negotiation and contract management.
Knowledge in manufacturing of electrical steel, cores, insulation kits, insulation boards, bushings, tap changers and other transformer accessories.
Good understanding in ISO standards, UN´s 17 Sustainable Development Goals, EcoVadis, REACH, RoHS, FMEA, PPAP and Conflict Minerals.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
