Our Indian Operations Centre (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, functional system testing, installation supervision, and commissioning. The team caters to the four business units—Transformers, Grid Integration, Grid Automation, High Voltage and has successfully executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Hitachi Energy was the first to introduce PQS to the power industry and has delivered PQS equipment for more than 50 years. Today Hitachi Energy is the recognized world leader with more than 50 percent of the global market share and more than 700+ installed bases. Hitachi Energy PQS uses a state of art modelling and other in-house engineering tools for Electromechanical design. The PQS Electromechanical Design (EM) team is responsible for the design of the PQS plant and the preparation of installation drawings & documents by developing a 3D Model in Revit.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Be responsible for plant 3D modelling in Revit environment including Civil, structural, equipment & architectural elements
- Be able to review the inputs provided by senior engineers and translate them to the required models
- Prepare PQS plant layouts (incl. yard layout plan and elevations) from the 3D model of plant
- Prepare Control building layout drawings and civil inputs comprising foundation plans, trench and conduit layouts, and other conceptual civil details)
- Prepare detailed structural and installation drawings for the site
- Coordinate models with Civil, Electrical and external suppliers
- Coordinate with Project/Tender Team
- Integrate 3D models from Civil, Structural, Architectural & Electrical Dept & detect clashes
- Occasionally international travel to site and customer meetings (presentations and activities) might be required based on various factors (i.e. Customer requirement etc.)

Qualification & Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience required
- Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- Relevant experience in working with Revit 3D and good Working knowledge of BIM 360, ACC / BIM
- Proficiency in required CAD design tools (AutoCAD, AutoCAD REVIT, 3D competence)
- Strong Knowledge and Preparation of Revit parametric families, schedules and construction documents using Revit 3D
- 3D Model / family creation for MEP disciplines is an added advantage and model Coordination with Architectural, Civil, Structural & MEP Departments
- Clash Resolving in Navisworks Manage and good Working knowledge in BIM 360 and ACC
- Strong attention to detail and Individual contributor using in-depth knowledge in a specific area to execute complex or specialized projects / challenges often thinking independently to challenge traditional solutions
- Comprehensive knowledge of related disciplines in the organization and works independently, applying established standards
- Excellent English speaker, good communication skills
- Dynamic and Proactive, willing to grow in the organization
- Team player, ready to play the role across the different countries and high level of ownership
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
