Looking to combine your interest in news, media and technology to ensure that accurate, timely and impartial news reaches our global audiences? Like the sound of a highly consultative role, managing a small batch of accounts consisting of the world's leading technology firms? This might be the role for you.

Reuters - the world’s largest multimedia news provider - reaches billions of users through trusted journalism and our innovative media partnerships. We're looking for an Account Manager to work within our Strategic Partnerships team, serving a small group of leading technology partners.

The Strategic Partnerships team identifies, executes, and manages Reuters´ most strategic and highest value partnerships through innovative and consultative deal making.

As Account Manager, Strategic Partnerships you'll retain our existing business partners and will both plan and implement account strategies to grow revenue opportunities across several large technology companies. It's a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of news, technology, and innovation, contributing to how Reuters content powers the next generation of AI-driven experiences and would be a great next challenge for a consultative, partner-led account manager that enjoys spotting new, mutually-beneficial commercial opportunities.

About the Role

As Account Manager, Strategic Partnerships, you will:

  • Manage, retain, and help grow revenue at key media tech Reuters clients. You'll act as a point of contact for partner queries, performance reporting, renewals, and upsell / cross-sell discussions.

  • Develop and maintain detailed account plans and account maps for key partners. You'll research and engage emerging AI and media companies to identify new partnership opportunities and feed them into the account and territory mapping.

  • Support senior stakeholders in the creation of consultative solutions and proposals whilst assisting with internal and external QBRs across key technology accounts.

  • Provide accurate forecasting, keeping management in touch with accounts in a timely fashion; consistent updating of all CRM systems and giving feedback to other internal stakeholders.

  • Establish strong, long-term customer relationships and cultivate new business opportunities.

  • Coordinate internal stakeholders (e.g., Product, Editorial, Legal, Commercial, Customer Success, Marketing) around account projects, renewal cycles, and growth initiatives. You'll also collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales Support to execute partnership goals, grow usage, and improve partner satisfaction

  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive CRM data (e.g., contacts, org charts, opportunities, products in use, expansion plans) and support internal weekly reporting and account reviews.

  • Stay informed on AI, media, and licensing trends to inform account strategies and help shape how Reuters partners with leading technology platforms

About You

You're a fit for the role of Account Manager, Strategic Partnerships if you have:

  • Demonstrable experience in account management, strategic partnerships, or business development within media, technology, or data-driven businesses.

  • Experience selling media content across ‘long and medium term’ sales cycles preferred and a demonstrable passion and curiosity for adapting business models to the ever-changing media landscape.

  • Demonstrable experience managing or supporting key accounts, including account planning, stakeholder management, and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and workstreams across large, complex accounts.

  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and engaging senior stakeholders, both internally and within partner organizations.

  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with CRM (ideally Salesforce) proficiency, and a disciplined approach to maintaining clean, actionable account data and maps.

  • Curiosity about generative AI and the evolving media landscape, and an interest in how structured account management can unlock new opportunities.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to communicate and deliver presentations effectively and at all levels within an organization.

  • A creative, consultative and collaborative attitude with great communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proficient in AI tools with a passion for quality journalism.

Please Note: complete applications must be submitted by 23:59 (ET) on Sunday 8th February 2026. Early applications are encouraged.
