Our Dassault Systemes Procurement team is excited to announce we have a Full time, Hybrid/Onsite internship opportunity available in our Waltham, MA office!

Join our team as a Procurement & Strategic Sourcing Summer Intern and gain hands-on experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and data-driven purchasing. This internship is designed for detail-oriented problem-solvers who want to apply classroom knowledge to real-world business challenges. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams across Procurement Operations and Strategic Sourcing while contributing to projects that support supplier engagement, sourcing initiatives, and operational efficiency. By the end of the summer, you’ll have exposure to the full procurement lifecycle—from RFQs through contracting to purchasing operations—while building professional skills and relationships that support a career in supply chain or procurement.

You will be part of a team that plays a crucial role in ensuring deployment readiness of workflow and usability.  We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team with skills in the following areas:

Problem-Solving with a “CAN DO” attitude: Demonstrate strong analytical problem-solving skills with creative agility while adapting to new tools, technologies, and evolving project needs.

·       Communication: Effective oral and written communication skills to collaborate with team members, gather requirements from stakeholders, and document & present critical information for technical and non-technical audiences.

·       Detail-oriented Analysis: Analyze purchasing and spend data to identify purchasing trends and behaviors, efficiencies, and potential cost-saving/ avoidance opportunities.

·       Able to Multitask and work Independently: Support sourcing initiatives by assisting with RFQs, supplier communications, bid analysis and contract preparation with the ability to work independently and adapt to evolving project requirements.

·       Procurement Operations: Learn the Procure-to-Pay process, inclusive of approval workflow, and internal stakeholder communications. Support supplier onboarding process managed by BAPS team in India and how it supports the North American GEO. Gain exposure to the company P-card process and related procurement procedures and policies.

·       Sourcing & Supplier Management: Assist with supplier sourcing by requesting quotes (RFQs), comparing bids, and developing a supplier comparison template. Contribute to RFP/RFQ processes, supplier research, and vendor negotiations under supervision. Maintain supplier records and support contract administration, including renewals, amendments, and compliance documentation (NDAs, DPAs).

·       Research and Analysis: Support category management initiatives by researching market trends and reviewing supplier performance.

·       Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Business, Economics or Supply Chain Management or related field.

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros).

·       Preferred: Familiarity with AI tools and procurement software (e.g., Peoplesoft, SAP) or other ERP systems.

In addition to working with your direct team, as a member of Dassault Systemes North American (NAM) Intern Program you will be invited to our Speaker Series, Lunch and Learns, Networking Events and employee functions.
