    Location: This position follows a hybrid work model, with offices located in Kraków and Warsaw or Home-based.

    Reporting to: Manager, Software QA Engineering

    Position Overview  

    The Product Design and Manufacturing Engineering team is seeking an experienced Senior Automation QA Engineer to join our growing organization in Poland. In this role, you will take a leading part in ensuring the quality of new cross-platform automation tools that connect products across Autodesk’s portfolio in the Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Manufacturing (CAM) domains.  

    The tools enable intuitive, AI-assisted automation execution and development within a visual programming environment, and you will play a key role in validating its performance, reliability, and usability.

    Responsibilities  

    • Identify, document, prioritize and track software defects, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution

    • Design, develop, and optimize automated test frameworks for desktop and web applications

    • Build, improve and scale automated test suites to ensure product stability and comprehensive coverage

    • Collaborate with engineering, product, and design teams to define test strategies, acceptance criteria and quality goals

    • Mentor QA engineers on best practices in automation, tooling, and quality processes

    • Evaluate, recommend, and implement new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance testing capabilities

    • Contribute to manual testing efforts when required

    • Drive continuous improvement in QA processes across the organization

     

     

    Minimum Qualifications 

    • 3+ years of experience in QA engineering with a strong focus on test automation and API testing

    • Proven experience with TypeScript and JavaScript languages

    • Experience in testing methodologies for both desktop and web applications

    • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

    • Demonstrated sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high-quality products

    • Strong written and oral communication skills in English

     

    Preferred Qualifications 

    • Experience with visual programming tools or environments (e.g., Grasshopper, Node-RED)

    • Experience working with CAD/CAM software, ideally Autodesk Fusion and Inventor 

    • Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from the ground up

    • Familiarity with testing cloud-based software products

    • Experience testing AI-driven features or workflows

    • Experience mentoring engineers or leading QA automation initiatives
