Your future team focuses on developing a new analytical platform for the Energy Division.
 

Your Role


Key responsibilities include:

  • Work in a team environment using Agile practices
  • Develop front-end and backend components of the Web Application
  • Utilize Continuous Integration and Pair Programming development methods
  • Collaborate closely with other developers, front-end designers, stakeholders and internal customers
  • Assist in the migration from legacy systems
  • Constantly learn from and educate others to improve yourself and the project


About You


Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Around 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
  • AWS experience, will have worked on cloud native applications previously
  • Solid understanding of Agile principals
  • Full project life-cycle experience – in React/NodeJS or Angular
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript
  • Ability to solve complex problems and learn from mistakes
  • Familiarity with database concepts
  • Strong unit testing and troubleshooting skills

Nice to have Qualifications and Skills:

  • Machine Learning / Data Science experience
  • Experience with Python
  • Understanding AWS deployments of cloud native applications
  • Experience of enterprise analytical packages (Spotfire, PowerBI, OmniSci)
  • Oil and Gas Experience
