We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our AdTech tribe in Berlin. You will act as a technical leader within our Adtech Domain, driving the architectural vision of our next-generation AdTech products. This platform empowers restaurants and local shops to promote themselves and reach new customers at a massive scale.

You will play a pivotal role in a geographically distributed tribe of over 14 squads. While our squads move quickly with a "we build it, we run it" principle, your role is to ensure these solutions are cohesive, scalable, and future-proof. You will bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution, optimizing the customer experience across more than 10 million orders per day.

What you will do

• Understand & Strategize – Gain deep expertise in the AdTech domain and contribute to short-, medium-, and long-term technical strategy, including AI adoption roadmaps for the team.

• Collaborate & Prioritize – Work closely with product, business, and tech teams to prioritize, plan, and execute platform projects, optimization initiatives, and AI-enhanced features.

• End-to-End Solutions – Work with the team to develop solutions from research and prototyping to deployment and monitoring, leveraging AI tooling where it accelerates delivery.

• AI-Augmented Engineering – Drive the adoption of AI coding assistants and LLM-based tools within the team's workflow, improving developer productivity and code quality.

• Scale & Innovate – Contribute to architecture evolution, process scaling, and continuous improvement while making an impact in a fast-moving global tech organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software development experience, including backend and frontend

• Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, troubleshooting, and best practices and ability to design and optimize scalable and reliable systems, and experience setting up observability and monitoring for services.

• Hands-on experience with one or more cloud providers in professional environments. And experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency in working with relational and/or NoSQL databases , and in driving consensus and delivery through clear technical documentation such as ARDs or RFCs.

• Experience or curiosity to leverage AI tooling to boost your productivity.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React and Golang.

• Experience with setting up and configuring CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Drone, Spinnaker).
