    Software QA Engineer – Fusion

    Kraków, Poland (Hybrid)

Reporting to: Senior SQA Manager (Shanghai)

    Position Overview

Autodesk empowers innovators to design and make a better world. Fusion is our integrated cloud platform unifying CAD, CAM, CAE, and PCB into a single collaborative environment — increasingly enhanced with AI-driven capabilities such as intelligent design assistance, automation, and data-driven workflows.

As a Software QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and trustworthiness of both core Fusion functionality and AI-enabled features used by engineers worldwide.

    In this role, you will:

    • Contribute to test planning and execution using risk-based testing approaches

    • Ensure comprehensive coverage for both deterministic software features and AI-driven functionality

    • Design, execute, and maintain manual and automated test cases

    • Identify, document, and track defects with clear analysis of impact and risk

    • Validate AI-enabled features, including behavior consistency, edge cases, failure modes, and user impact

    • Apply critical thinking to assess AI-specific risks such as non-deterministic outcomes, model drift, and data sensitivity

    • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and cross-functional global teams

    • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies

    • Contribute to automation efforts that scale with fast-paced, AI-enabled development

This role offers strong exposure to AI-focused quality practices while building deep expertise in modern software testing within a global product organization.

    Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

    • 2–4 years of professional experience in software QA or software development

    • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum methodology)

    • Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)

    • Basic knowledge of automation frameworks and scripting languages (Python or similar)

    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

    • Attention to detail and structured problem-solving mindset

    • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in an international team environment

    • Basic understanding of CAD concepts or willingness to learn

    • Understanding of how AI/ML-powered systems differ from traditional deterministic software

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience with Fusion or similar CAD/CAM platforms

    • Exposure to AI/ML feature validation or intelligent systems testing

    • Experience contributing to automation frameworks in a CI/CD environment

    • Familiarity with exploratory testing techniques for complex systems
