Work you'll do/Responsibilities

Serve as a data engineer and analyst across multiple products, delivering new features, enhancements, and timely issue resolution. Partner with product stakeholders to refine requirements, translate needs into data solutions, and ensure high-quality outcomes. Collaborate closely with offshore teammates to coordinate delivery, maintain momentum on priorities, and meet agreed timelines.

• Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management
• Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of experience in Java applications
• 5+ years data engineering experience supporting custom enterprise applications (including at least some of: Bridge, IAR, ReceiptRecon, LIFO).
• 5+ Years experience Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with ETL/ELT development, orchestration/scheduling, and data quality controls.
• 5+ Years Experience troubleshooting production data issues end-to-end (root cause analysis, remediation, and prevention via monitoring/runbooks).
• 5+ Years experience translating product/operations needs into data requirements and deliverables; strong stakeholder communication.
• 5+ Years Experience collaborating with offshore teams using standard agile delivery practices (backlog, sprint execution, handoffs).
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
