Job Details

Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS) is a full-service security and investigative team that protects the assets, integrity and reputation of Citi and its clients.

CSIS Crisis Management is responsible for designing and maintaining Citi’s all-threats Crisis Management program and providing strategies for businesses to use to protect staff and mitigate risk during a crisis event as well as complying with applicable legislation, regulations and codes. The program covers the complete crisis management lifecycle from Readiness to Response through to Recovery and Review and is activated during crisis events to provide notifications, escalation, and coordination of Citi corporate resources to help resolve emergencies.

CSIS Crisis Management is building out a team in Charlotte and is looking for an experienced professional to manage day-to-day functions in support of Crisis Management program activities for the Americas geography. This Crisis Management role is an individual contributor position reporting to the Global Crisis Management Execution Head.

Role responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day functions in support of crisis management program activities, across multiple locations and jurisdictions in assigned geography and in support globally where Citi has a business presence/operations
  • Support and ensure Crisis Management Plans and other required components are maintained across assigned geography, in support of Citi’s Crisis Management program
  • Support the Crisis Management Teams and Crisis Commander during crisis events, to ensure Citi's Crisis Management program is executed
  • Liaise with CSIS’s Intelligence and security functions, Enterprise Resiliency and business leaders as threats emerge
  • Ensure consistency of crisis responses, coordination and communication (including dissemination of critical decision-making information) through adherence to the CM program
  • Create and participate in response plans and training exercises to improve organizational response to events and emerging threats
  • Review Post-Crisis actions and evaluate performance and processes to determine how well the Crisis Management Plan was executed and update the methodology and crisis process where possible


Qualifications:

This role requires proven experience in crisis management exercising. If you have the following, we would like to talk to you:

  • 10 years of experience, with demonstrable involvement in crisis management, preferably in the financial services sector
  • Industry recognized professional training/exercise certifications in Crisis Management and/or contingency planning would be an advantage
  • Ability to bring compassion in leadership to crisis management
  • Self-starter and resourceful individual, able to work effectively in a highly dynamic, complex, and stressful environment with the ability to brief executive leadership at any time
  • Experience in managing variable and complex projects simultaneously, ability to execute daily duties with minimal supervision, and able, while also being team-oriented
  • Experience of working with virtual global teams within a matrix organization
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deliverables as well as changing priorities concurrently
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and display an ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels in the organization
  • Effective execution abilities
  • Knowledge and experience with crisis management tools
  • Must be flexible and be able to work traditional and non-traditional work hours as so determined by an event or circumstances


Education:

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent experience

This role will be hybrid and require three days in office at location 11225 N, Community House Road Charlotte, NC 28277, once the facility opens Q2 2026.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$134,960.00 - $202,440.00
