Skills and Competencies 

  • Extensive hands-on experience with OneStream planning, particularly in budgeting, forecasting, and finance-related processes
  • Proven expertise in system operations, business analysis, and managing EPM Cloud operations for Finance and Accounting, with 3+ years in IT project implementations
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel modelling, Visual Basic .NET, SQL Server, and Power BI; familiarity with Fabric Lakehouse architecture is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions while communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Skilled in project and issue management tools such as JIRA and ServiceNow, ensuring efficient workflows and resolution tracking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of breaking down complex issues, identifying root causes, and delivering effective solutions
  • Success in cross-functional team collaboration, stakeholder relationship management, and aligning priorities to achieve shared business goals in dynamic environments
  • Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use


Education

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems or Project Management
  • Preferred OneStream certification

 

Responsibilities 

Are you ready to take your career to the next level by shaping the future of financial systems in a dynamic, data-driven environment?  We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Business Systems Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team.  In this critical role, you will drive innovation, streamline processes, and enable smarter decision-making.

  • Partner with business leaders to understand challenges, design actionable strategies, and implement OneStream solutions to enhance performance and enable strategic decision-making
  • Transform raw transactional data into analytical insights using OneStream’s Specialty Planning, Analytical Blend, and custom solutions to meet evolving business needs
  • Lead operational excellence across the SDLC, utilizing JIRA for structured project plans, timely delivery, and compliance with audit standards
  • Manage security protocols, access provisioning, and governance activities, ensuring SOX compliance and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Drive efficiency through process automation, data reconciliation improvements, and deployment of BI tools and advanced technologies
  • Oversee platform scalability, proactive issue resolution, and continuous improvement, ensuring transparency with detailed project reporting
  • Develop SOPs, mentor team members, and deliver impactful training programs to empower users and maximize the EPM platform’s capabilities


About the Team 

The EPM Team, part of the Data and Analytics department, focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and enabling digital transformation through financial modelling, data management, innovation, and AI solutions.  We partner closely with the Finance team to foster innovation, optimize processes, and empower smarter, faster decision-making.  Joining our team means engaging in impactful work, tackling complex challenges, collaborating with diverse stakeholders, and utilizing cutting-edge technology to drive meaningful change.

 

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $119,100.00 - $172,250.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
