Thomson Reuters are looking for their next Consultant to join our Professional Services team. Supporting our ONESOURCE product, this is an ideal opportunity for a tax consultant who's ready for their next move. One that builds on your technical tax foundation while expanding your experience into technology-enabled transformation.

As a Consultant, you'll be a trusted subject matter expert in our tax software suite, partnering with clients to deliver successful implementations and drive lasting adoption. You'll work with a diverse portfolio, including ASX100 and multinational corporates, helping them modernize and streamline their tax processes.

Step into the fast-evolving world of tax technology and use your Australian tax expertise to make a real impact for leading organizations.

This role can be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

About the Role

In this opportunity as Consultant, Professional Services you will:

  • Deliver end-to-end implementations of our tax software products—providing expert guidance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring successful adoption

  • Act as the technical subject matter expert, advising clients on best-practice use of the platform and solving real-world challenges

  • Support sales enablement and solution scoping, articulating the value of our products and services to both prospective and existing customers

  • Manage multiple implementations concurrently, partnering closely with a Project Manager to keep delivery on track

  • Strengthen client retention and relationships by supporting Client Relationship Managers as the technical expert in customer conversations

  • Produce high-quality implementation reports, guides, training manuals, and supporting documentation

  • Deliver engaging client training sessions and webinars that build confidence and capability

About You

You’re a fit for the role of Consultant, Professional Services if you have the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience in Australian tax

  • Knowledge of tax effect accounting and how it's applied in practice

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a solutions-first mindset

  • The ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical advice

  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills (written and verbal)

  • A collaborative approach and confidence working in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
