The Opportunity
As a Tax Japanese Business Network (JBN) Associate, you will engage in a dynamic role that involves supporting client tax compliance and consulting projects, helping them navigate the complexities of tax regulations. As an Associate, you will focus on learning and contributing to client engagement and projects while developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work. You will be exposed to clients to learn how to build meaningful connections, manage and inspire others, and grow your personal brand by deepening your technical knowledge of firm services and technology resources.

You will develop your skills in areas such as accounting practices, project management, and financial statement analysis. Responsibilities
- Supporting client engagement and projects within the tax compliance Japanese Business Network
- Participating in drafting and preparing tax documents for corporate tax planning
- Engaging in tax research to provide accurate and up-to-date information and advice
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to identify emerging patterns and opportunities
- Assisting in regulatory compliance consulting to help organizations meet legal requirements
- Conducting financial statement analysis to understand business health and performance
- Collaborating with teams to manage project tasks and achieve goals within constraints
- Utilizing accounting practices to maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Preparing tax returns and submissions to ensure compliance with tax laws
- Analyzing financial audits to express opinions on financial statements
- Contributing to tax auditing processes to verify accurate tax reporting and payment
- Developing skills in tax accounting for individuals and businesses
- Reviewing financial documents to identify potential deductions or liabilities
- Filing regulatory submissions to meet country-specific requirements for product evaluation
- Building meaningful client connections and learning to manage and inspire others
What You Must Have
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
- Business-level fluency in Japanese and English, with the ability to read,write, and speak both languages in a professional setting
- At least a 3.0 overall GPA
- Client service associate positions are entry-level roles intended for job seekers who are completing or have recently completed their final academic year of educational requirements.

The salary range for this position is: $53,500 - $142,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
