Job Description

The Senior Manager, Next Gen AI & CRM Tools is a role which will aid in facilitating and leading the collaboration efforts needed for the success of our Future Fit Field Tools.  The Senior Manager, Next Gen AI & CRM Field Tools is managing the support team and executing appropriate communications to our field and marketing colleagues, as well as home office employees, along with continuously contributing creative ideas. The role is also responsible for acting as liaison between Franchise Teams, Commercial Operations, Center of Excellence, IT, Training, OEC, and Legal.  This position influences cross-functional teams to create and assess field tools, including CRM and analytical AI tools. 

The position is a part of the Field Planning & Analytics Team Center of Excellence which drives field force effectiveness by optimizing our sales force size and structure, ensuring our IC designs are driving the right behavior, and ensuring our call plans, field tools and operations provide our field teams with what they need to drive the business in their markets.  This position reports into the leader. 

Key Job Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure quality and timeliness of key deliverables and embrace the idea of participating in workstreams, acting as the key point of contact. 

  • Effectively prioritize across competing projects, maintaining constant flow of communication with customers and demonstrating strong project management abilities.  Such projects include: deployment and strategic planning for Next Gen CRM, AI analytical tools across our US teams. 

  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity to enhance/improve existing process/outputs in Field Tools. 

  • Effectively manage vendor partnerships (timelines, budget, communications) with specific projects and initiatives.  

  • Serve as liaison between Therapeutics Operations and Analytics, Business Technology Solutions, Training, and Franchise teams to partner in the design, deployment, training, maintenance and communications of field facing solutions. 

  • Provide reporting and analytics on Field Tools to business Director and Associate Director level stakeholders. 

  • Use experience and knowledge in data sources, analytic methods, and reporting/crediting business rules to educate stakeholders on the value of analytics to guide field strategic initiatives and tactical priorities.  

  • Own cross functional projects in capability with minimal supervision by manager. 

  • Own cross franchise best practice sharing in the execution of key solutions, system enhancements and changes.    

  • Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to maximize adoption of initiatives. 

  • Proactively recommends improvements to streamline current processes and reduce field pain points and time, ensuring consistency.  

  • Proactively engages in the business and the users to provide system enhancement/business process recommendations and gather feedback. 

Additional Role Responsibilities:  

  • SME and key point of contact for US field teams  

  • Ownership of commercial systems (including but not limited to CRM, GenAIsys, other Field Analytical Tools and related processes). 

  • Manage all requirements, updates, issues, segmentation updates for the franchise partners. 

  • Act as liaison between Commercial Operations,  Business Technology Team, Training, and Franchise teams to partner in the design, deployment, training, and communications of  Field Force Reporting Tools. 


Qualifications

  • BA, BS degree required. BA/BS required to ensure effective understanding and application of business concepts. 

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management (including leadership of a significant cross-functional project), marketing or sales operations or information technology. 

  • 3 plus years analytical and/or Commercial operations experience required, preferably in the healthcare industry. 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SQL, Snowflake 

  • Preferred knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, compliance regulations and standards 

  • Able to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously with sense of urgency. 

  • Strong project management, problem-solving and analytical skills. 

  • Ability to clearly and confidently articulate complex and difficult concepts to a broad client base, including senior leadership, sales leadership, and other high-level contacts 

  • Ability to work cross-functionally, in a matrix environment, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders (verticals, COE, brand teams). 

  • Self-starter with strong focus on internal and external customers and operations   

  • Identifies opportunities to improve efficiencies and further integrate data to better serve business needs.  

  • Seeks out diverse and different ideas and fosters collaborative team environment. 

  • Excellent business acumen, understanding of Compliance, Legal, Med/Reg drivers and guidance. 

  • Ability to develop and deliver training and communications to small and large groups. 

  • Salesforce.com experience preferred.

  • This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs. ​
