Job Description

We are looking for an Analyst to join our consulting practice in Brazil. In this role, you will contribute to high-impact projects that drive sustainable and profitable growth for Visa’s clients. You will work closely with issuers, merchants, and acquirers, positioning Visa as both the preferred brand and a trusted business partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support consulting engagements from scoping to delivery, contributing to project success and client satisfaction.
  • Analyze Visa and industry data to extract insights and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Create frameworks, solutions, and toolkits that address client challenges and can be scaled across the region.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, risk, innovation, client services) to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Produce clear, insightful reports and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Share best practices and contribute to the continuous improvement of VCA’s consulting methodologies.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.


Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/ or payment schemes, including lifecycle initiatives, products & services, business systems and processes, and card acquiring experience.
  • Experience working with financial indicators and product management.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor
  • Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently
  • Technology mindset, curious, up to date with digital trends and applications
  • Team player
  • Portuguese and English are mandatory.
  • Payment industry, digital payments or payment processing experience preferred.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking with a strong attention to detail that leverages multiple sources of information.
  • Able to understand and start to disaggregate problem statement into distinct pieces of analysis.
  • Use and adapt templates for unique client scenarios, optimizing structure to demonstrate + articulate key messages.
  • Ability to execute quantitative and qualitative analysis with some guidance.
  • Basic takeaways from the data + starting to craft storyline, ensure data quality + leverage data to support decision-making in project management.
  • Strong team player with a willingness to collaborate across levels and functional experts.
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to adapt.
  • Proficient and ideally a power-user of spreadsheet and presentation tools.
