Position Overview
We are looking for a talented BI Developer to join the Customer Success Management (CSM) Data & Analytics team at Autodesk, Data and analytics play a critical role in how the Customer Success organization operates at scale. As Autodesk continues to evolve its CS strategy, timely, actionable, and easy-to-consume insights are essential to helping field teams prioritize engagement, support onboarding, and drive customer adoption.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality dashboards and analytical experiences that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for Customer Success teams. You will work closely with Data Engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure insights are trusted, relevant, and aligned to real-world CS workflows. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining data, visual design, and storytelling to influence decision-making.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that support onboarding, adoption, prioritization, and experimentation across Scaled CS
Translate business questions and requirements into clear analytical visuals and narratives that enable action by non-technical audiences
Partner with Data Engineers to ensure dashboards are built on well-modeled, trusted analytical datasets
Develop self-service and ad-hoc reporting solutions that empower CS teams to explore data independently
Create and maintain DAX measures and calculations to support lifecycle-aware and profile-aware insights
Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation, testing, and adherence to governance standards
Apply corporate branding and visualization standards to ensure consistent, professional outputs
Create and maintain enablement and documentation to help end users understand and adopt dashboards effectively
Present insights and findings to business stakeholders, telling a compelling story grounded in data
Continuously improve existing dashboards based on user feedback and evolving business needs
AI & Advanced Analytics Enablement (Key Focus)
This role does not build AI or machine learning models but plays an important role in making AI-driven insights understandable and actionable for Customer Success teams
Visualize and explain outputs from predictive or advanced analytics models (e.g., scores, classifications, likelihoods) in dashboards
Help translate probabilistic or confidence-based metrics into clear, decision-oriented visuals
Support experimentation and A/B testing by designing dashboards that measure outcomes and compare cohorts
Collaborate with Data Engineers and advanced analytics partners to ensure AI-driven insights are presented responsibly, clearly, and with appropriate context
Signs You’re a Good Fit
You enjoy turning complex data into simple, intuitive stories
You care about how insights are actually used in the field, not just how dashboards look
You’re comfortable working with ambiguous business questions and refining them into concrete analytical outputs
You enjoy partnering closely with engineers and stakeholders rather than working in isolation
You have a strong sense of design, clarity, and user experience
Minimum Qualifications
3–5+ years of relevant professional experience in BI development, analytics, or a related role
BA / BS in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience
Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including report development and DAX
Strong experience writing SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyse data
Experience with dimensional modelling concepts and building analytical datasets for reporting
Strong visual design and data storytelling skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting Customer Success, Support, or GTM analytics use cases
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake)
Exposure to other BI tools (e.g., Looker) is a plus
Basic familiarity with Python for data analysis or automation
Experience working with experimentation or A/B testing dashboards
Experience working with distributed or remote teams across time zones
