Job Description

The Associate Director, Pricing Strategy & Analytics will drive the Pricing Excellence strategy across the organization, with an emphasis on data centralization, advanced analytics, training for Price Forecasting and Accounting, and cross-functional partnership. This role is accountable for leading pricing system strategy, overseeing documentation and SOPs across the price forecasting team, and providing guidance and actionable insights in support of all price forecasting and GTN (Gross-to-Net) functions. The incumbent will collaborate with various stakeholders to coordinate planning cycles and align pricing practices across Accounting, Price Forecasting, Controllership, Strategic Pricing, Market Access, Public and Private payer contracting teams, while supporting business objectives and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support cross-functional projects, including GTN visualization, in collaboration with Market Access, Controllership and business partners to standardize reporting visuals to enhance decision-making and understanding of net profitability.
  • Develop and maintain price forecasting process flows and standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring compliance and consistency while providing transparency to interdependence across Strategic Pricing, Government programs, and Commercial.
  • Maintain and update Pricing’s GTN Enhanced Model (G.E.M.), offering implementation guidance for new methodologies, and incorporation of new internal/external pricing policies such as 340B scrubbing, IRA Inflation Rebate, Part D Manufacturer Discount, Maximum Fair Price and One Big Beautiful Bill Most Favored Nation impacts.
  • Partner with Accounting COE to drive transparency in balance sheet accounting, support JE alignment, and ensure consistent practices regarding channel summaries, returns, month of supply, and price pipeline.
  • Strategic Partner in the execution and implementation of the CDL-F data centralization initiative, to ensure organization is establishing pricing data infrastructure and optimization, while driving adoption and efficiency.
  • Design and deliver training programs for Price Forecasting and Accounting including the coordination and communication of planning cycles with Commercial and Public Channel teams, absorbing and streamlining workflow from the various forecasting teams.
  • Incumbent is expected to successfully perform all responsibilities with a high degree of self-motivation and autonomy

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field (required). Advanced degree (MBA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
  • 8+ years’ experience in pricing, finance, analytics, or a related function within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in pricing data management, modeling, and analytics; proficiency in pricing systems and financial forecasting platforms.
  • Strong project leadership skills with an ability to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver training to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to partner across multiple departments (Finance, Accounting, Market Access, Commercial).
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, data visualization tools, and automated accounting systems.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving aptitude; capable of handling complex processes and improving operational efficiency.
