What is The Role:

If you are a passionate full-stack developer that loves to navigate the JavaScript universe we would like to hear from you. We are seeking a Software Engineer to join the Application Experience team in order to make an impact by improving the customer experience in Kibana.

You will be contributing significantly to our Software-as-a-Service, Serverless, and On-Premise initiatives. You will also be integral in crafting the products we build, not just implementing specs.

What You Will Be Doing:

• As part of the Analyst Experience team you will work on our various data visualization and dashboarding tools.
• You will be part of a great team who mentor, challenge and support each other.
• You will work closely with the Product, Operations, Design and Engineering teams to define and shape the tasks we work on.
• Work on a codebase that consists of UX, APIs, and services both on the client and server side.

What You Bring:

• At least three years of web application development experience
• Knowledgeable with some combination of React, Typescript, Emotion or CSS-in-JS styling, Jest, NodeJS, Git, Storybook, or willing to learn those that are missing
• Good technical writing, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work with a worldwide team in a distributed work environment
• Passionate about JavaScript and web development in general
• It's no requirement, but if you bring along experience with the Opensource ecosystem and/or Elasticsearch, let us know!
