Job Details
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Analytics Engineer to join our team. As part of the Marketing Business Intelligence (MBI) Engineering team, you will work hands-on with Alteryx workflows and Snowflake environments to support the full-funnel Marketing Intelligence Suite. The role requires structured analytical thinking and strong investigative skills paired with the ability to work independently, providing clear and effective progress updates along the way. You will collaborate with the Data Visualization team to align logic and definitions across data products, helping maintain consistency, accuracy, and confidence in our reporting ecosystem. Your curiosity, system-level understanding, and proactive mindset will enable you to anticipate downstream impacts and contribute to the continuous improvement of our data environment.
About the Role
In this role as Senior Marketing Analytics Engineer, you will:
Design, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve curated datasets for Tableau, Snowflake, and marketing data products.
Investigate and resolve ambiguous or unexpected data behaviour using a structured, hypothesis-driven approach.
Develop a strong understanding of interconnected upstream MarTech platforms (Eloqua, Salesforce, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Workfront) and how they interact within the broader MBI data mesh.
Ensure reliability, scalability, and documentation discipline across Alteryx workflows.
Monitor daily data refresh schedules and address automation or performance issues promptly.
Manage assigned work independently with clear communication of progress, findings, and blockers.
Collaborate with Data Visualization to align business rules, logic, and metric definitions across products.
Contribute to engineering standards, QA processes, documentation practices, and knowledge sharing within the team.
Shift Timing: 12pm IST to 9pm IST
Work Mode: Hybrid (work from office for 2-3 days in a week is mandatory).
About You
You’re a fit for the role of Senior Marketing Analytics Engineer, if your background includes:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field (Marketing focused is a plus).
5+ years’ experience in analytics engineering or data engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with Alteryx (preferred) and ETL design.
Practical experience working with Snowflake.
Familiarity with MarTech and CRM platforms.
Experience with Azure DevOps or similar project management tools.
Experience using marketing data sources such as CRM especially Salesforce, marketing automation platform especially Eloqua, web tracking especially Adobe Analytics is a plus.
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explore issues methodically.
Ability to work independently with good judgement on escalation and stakeholder communication.
