Skills and Competencies

  • 1–3 years of experience providing Level 1 Product & Platform support to business users 
    in a global banking or financial services environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide functional Level 1 product and platform support with strong logical reasoning and user centric problem solving.
  • Strong analytical and problem-resolution skills with hands-on experience troubleshooting urgent, time sensitive system/user issues.
  • Experience with system administration tasks such as user access management, front end configurations, and platform setup.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven experience interacting with global stakeholders.
  • Ability to work empathetically and collaboratively with users, enabling self serve adoption wherever possible.
  • Willingness to work in a 24/5 shift environment. 

Preferred: Experience supporting content management systems, workflow tools, or enterprise content platforms; familiarity with structured publishing environments; proficiency in MS Office and exposure to ticketing tools such as ServiceNow or JIRA.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 1 Product & Platform support & administration for Moody’s Content Management platform, ensuring seamless research authoring and publishing.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for global Ratings & Research users, delivering timely and accurate functional and technical support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve urgent issues holistically, minimizing business disruption and ensuring compliance with SLAs and SOPs.
  • Perform initial triage and escalate cases to Level 2 or product teams with clear documentation and communication.
  • Manage platform administrative tasks including user access management, permissions, entitlements, templates, metadata, and workflow configurations.
  • Execute platform configuration updates to support content product management and operational needs.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to validate front-end functionality, support release readiness, and participate in user acceptance testing.
  • Contribute to driving user adoption of new features and capabilities across regions.
  • Maintain internal knowledge bases, support documentation, and stay current on new releases, known issues, and workarounds.
  • Identify recurring user challenges and recommend enhancements to improve platform usability and support efficiency.

About the team
Our Research Product & Platform team is responsible for delivering Level 1 global support for Moody’s Ratings & Research community and ensuring seamless operation of the Content Management platform and related research workflows.

  • Enabling an author centric support model that reduces friction and enhances the entire research creation and publishing journey.
  • Driving a strong self serve culture through intuitive tools, clear guidance, and accessible resources for analysts and reviewers.
  • Partnering with Product, Technology, and Research stakeholders to continuously improve platform reliability, usability, and alignment with business needs.
