This position is mainly focused on payment processes and ensuring controls and metrics are in place for all countries under scope.

The Payments Analyst is responsible for the execution of payments to vendors, reimbursements to employees, payment of corporate credit cards, and any other kind of payments of operating expenses. This role manages high-risk activities, which includes the execution of payments through wire transfers and checks within the single payment model, through the execution of proper controls.

This position will control any risks associated with the payments process, in conjunction with the process approver, as it is the final step to complete payments to suppliers or employees.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Generation and execution of payment runs.
• Downloading (Feed) and uploading (Upload) reports for the payment process.
• Management of fund requests for payments.
• Management of foreign currency requests.
• Performing payment accounts reconciliations.
• Generation of rejected payments reports.
• Control and follow-up of rejected payments, ensuring their timely resolution.
• Application of payment voids.
• Uploading payments into the corresponding systems or plattforms.
• Processing of BRM Payments.
• Preparation of accounting instructions and regularizations.
• Management of evidence/proofs of payment.
• Acting as backup for processes handled by other C9 Analysts.
• Resolution of errors and discrepancies in payments.
• Participation and support in audits, Management Control Assessments (MCA), among other reviews.
• Collaboration in implementations, testing, and Business Continuity (COB) activities.
• Correct treatment and expected solution for SNOW cases that are assigned to the payment group

Requirements and Qualifications

• English Level B2: Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Basic/Intermediate Accounting Knowledge: Foundational understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Microsoft Office: Proficiency in applications such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Data Analysis: Ability to collect, process, and interpret data to support decision-making.
• P2P (Procure-to-Pay) Knowledge: Understanding of the entire purchase-to-payment cycle
• Customer-oriented approach to ensure correct and timely execution of payments, enhancing service.
• Ability to manage high-risk activities and ensure proper control implementation.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
