As a Vice President, Quant Analyst within our Markets Quantitative Analytics team in Singapore, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the APAC Local Markets rates trading desk. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your quantitative expertise to directly impact trading strategies and market performance. You will be responsible for developing advanced pricing models and analytical tools, providing critical insights, and contributing to the evolution of our algorithmic trading capabilities, all while operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Primary Responsibilities of the role- Develop and implement sophisticated pricing models and analytical tools specifically for APAC Local Markets linear rates products.
- Provide comprehensive quantitative analysis and insights to support the APAC Local Markets rates trading desk in Singapore.
- Design, develop, and maintain algorithmic trading strategies and their underlying infrastructure.
- Collaborate closely with traders, sales, technology teams, and other quantitative analysts to deliver integrated and robust solutions.
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and documentation of all developed models and tools to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in quantitative finance to continuously enhance our analytical capabilities.
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a quantitative field such as Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience (typically 5+ years) in quantitative analysis, model development, or algorithmic trading within a front-office trading environment, with a strong focus on rates products.
- Exceptional programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java, including experience with relevant quantitative libraries and frameworks.
- Deep understanding of financial markets, particularly APAC Local Markets rates, linear products, and their associated derivatives.
- Proven experience with the full lifecycle of algorithmic trading systems, from strategy conception to implementation and performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex quantitative concepts clearly to non-specialists.
