Skills and Competencies
•    3-5 years frontend/UI engineering experience
•    Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills
•    Proficiency in React or Angular frameworks
•    Understanding of CSS, responsive design, and UX fundamentals
•    Experience with UI testing frameworks (Jest, RTL, Cypress/Playwright)
•    Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG)
•    Experience with Storybook or design-system tooling
•    Exposure to micro-frontend patterns or SSR frameworks
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent professional experience
Responsibilities
•    Develop modern front-end features using React or Angular + TypeScript
•    Build reusable components aligned with design-system patterns
•    Optimize UI for performance, responsiveness, and accessibility
•    Integrate UI with backend APIs and handle complex state management
•    Write automated unit and UI integration tests
•    Participate in design reviews with UX and provide technical input
•    Troubleshoot UI defects, layout issues, and rendering bottlenecks

Our Insurance Solutions team is responsible for developing cutting-edge software, sophisticated models, and advanced analytics that power risk quantification for the global multi-trillion-dollar P&C market
By joining our team, you will develop modern, reusable components and features using React or Angular with TypeScript. They follow design-system patterns, optimize performance, and integrate cleanly with backend APIs. The role prioritizes accessibility, responsiveness, and testing to deliver consistent, high-quality experiences. The role supports debugging and performance tuning across the stack and contributes to the modernization journey in Moody’s Casualty and Financial Lines
