Skills and Competencies
- 5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with comprehensive knowledge of the accounting cycle. Familiarity with leases or real estate is preferred.
Excellent verbal & written English skills.
Intermediate knowledge of accounting concepts
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail; able to validate outputs using other data sources and consistently execute recurring processes without errors.
- Provides intermediate to advanced support for the execution of business planning processes and preparation of deliverables.
- Proficient in processing large volumes of data with a focus on accuracy, including the capability to integrate quantitative and qualitative insights to develop conclusions and aid in decision-making.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use.
Education
- Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or another quantitative field
Responsibilities
The Senior Financial Analyst role will play a critical role in supporting through all phases of the company’s financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes, including participation in ad hoc project work. The SFA is responsible for conducting and processing large amounts of financial data on a regular basis to create detailed reports based on the observations and analysis results.
- Provide support on the analytical, forecasting, month end and variance analysis reporting and Ad Hoc projects based on business needs
- Deliver driver based presentational outputs for discussion with senior management.
- Collaborate in the preparation of the monthly reports and variance analysis that will help identify key focus areas for management, in a timely manner with moderate level of guidance from direct manager and/or senior team members
- Assist with the preparation of various business planning processes and deliverables: forecast, budget, 5 year strategic plan, etc.
- Assist in inputting forecast and budget projections into Moody’s financial reporting system.
- Assist in the development of new reporting solutions and identifying key focus areas for management
- Implement best practices for enhancements to current processes and reporting, including driving the standardization of activities across business planning to harness efficiencies
- Provide support for the development of financial models to evaluate business scenarios and support strategic initiatives

- Develop and update financial models to assist in strategic initiatives and support critical decisions through financial projections
- Collaborate in special projects as assigned by Finance management
About the Team
The FP&A Corporate Planning team partners with the Real Estate team to manage all financial reporting and planning activities, including budget and forecast modelling, expense reporting, results storytelling, and variance analysis versus forecast and budget.
