What does a Marketing Manager do
The Marketing Manager at Visa plays a key role in generating Value Added Service (VAS) revenue by delivering effective marketing solutions for clients. The responsibilities include planning and delivery of Marketing Services such as market research to identify opportunities for campaigns and promotions, overseeing the production of all marketing materials, and tracking the success of marketing campaigns. The Manager collaborates closely with other functions such as sales, product and consulting teams and clients to identify key marketing opportunities and develop and execute marketing strategies to drive our clients’ business success.
Detailed responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with multiple functions such as sales, product and consulting teams to co-create and deliver effective marketing services and strategy for clients based on the account plan, driving VAS revenue
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and inquiries related to marketing activities.
- Collaborate with multiple functions to co-create and deliver effective marketing services and strategy for clients based on the account plan, driving VAS revenue.
- Partner with advertising, media, digital, and promotion agencies to ensure the delivery and execution of projects.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing programs to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee all administrative deliverables related to marketing activities, ensuring full compliance with the organization's policies and processes.
- Serve as a brand and marketing steward, ensuring the brand is always presented in alignment with its vision and purpose.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
What do you need:
- 8+ years of work experience, particularly in marketing, with a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Business proficiency in English and Japanese.
- Ability to think both strategically and creatively, while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and apply it to marketing strategies and executions to achieve desired results.
- Deep understanding of market trends, including digital marketing.
- Willingness to take responsibility and accountability for the successful delivery of projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Openness to learning from mistakes and contributing to a culture of creativity and innovation.
