Position Overview
The Onboarding Program Manager plays a critical role in delivering and continuously evolving Autodesk’s enterprise onboarding experience, ensuring new hires are effectively enabled, connected, and engaged from day one. This role manages the delivery of Talent and Learning programs including New Employee Orientation (NEO) and serves as a key contributor to Autodesk’s broader talent enablement and employee experience strategy.
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Program Manager, Talent Programs. The Onboarding Program Manager will lead the end-to-end governance, coordination, and optimization of onboarding programs, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders on-site in India and across our global network. This role will work closely with Learning & Development, Talent Enablement & Operations, the PPL Go-To-Market team, Culture, Diversity & Belonging, and business leaders globally.
The ideal candidate is a confident and experienced program manager with a strong background in onboarding or learning programs, exceptional English facilitation and communication skills, and the ability to manage complex, global processes at scale. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, stakeholder influence, and a continuous improvement mindset grounded in learner-centered design.
Responsibilities
• Own the coordination, and delivery of enterprise onboarding programs, including New Employee Orientation (NEO), across virtual and in-person formats
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align onboarding experiences with enterprise talent priorities and employee experience goals
• Lead end-to-end program execution, serving as producer and facilitator for live onboarding events and ensuring operational excellence
• Design, evolve, and scale engaging, inclusive onboarding content using adult learning principles and data-driven insights
• Build and manage facilitator and speaker communities to ensure consistent quality and program impact
• Measure program effectiveness through metrics and feedback, translating insights into continuous improvements
• Drive operational efficiency and scalability through process optimization, technology, and emerging tools (including AI)
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires and key stakeholders, managing communications and cross-functional coordination
• Deliver in-person onboarding experiences for local hires in India while supporting global onboarding needs
Minimum Qualifications
• English fluency (written and verbal) with strong presentation and facilitation skills
• 8+ years of experience in onboarding, learning program management, or HR program management
• Proven experience managing complex, global programs with multiple stakeholders
• Experience facilitating virtual and in-person learning experiences for diverse audiences
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead programs while collaborating effectively across teams
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Learner-centric mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, Learning & Instructional Design, or related field
• Experience with learning technologies, LMS platforms, or onboarding systems
• Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, or curriculum development
• Experience leveraging artificial intelligence or automation to improve HR or learning programs
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP)
