Meet the StoryStudio: The Hearst StoryStudio is responsible for the ideation and development of custom content programs across the Hearst Newspaper and Broadcast Divisions. Since our inception in January 2015, we have created over 10,000 stories for our brand partners, in 20+ verticals ranging from travel, non-profits, real estate, finance, retail, healthcare, and much more. Simply put, we create content for our brand partners.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for developing branded content for our partners that brings to life their message by finding what makes them unique in their respective industries.
- You will think strategically and work with your brand partners independently managing the content marketing program end to end.
- You will lead and participate in brainstorms to develop creative content for our brand partners.
- You will partner with content creators to develop concepts and execute content that meets brand objectives and strategy.
- You will manage the content production process from start to finish, which includes, but is not limited to, driving schedules, managing approvals, implementing changes, and communicating updates effectively.
- You will be an expert in native advertising solutions and content marketing strategy.
- You will further Hearst StoryStudio’s growth through solution set upselling.
- You will measure and report on the effectiveness of all content marketing efforts.
- You will work independently as creative director for your projects. You will prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Your decisions will determine the effectiveness of high-end marketing campaigns.
- You will never have a boring day.
Here is what we are looking for:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Proficiency in MS Office; Adobe Suite is a plus
- Knowledge in no-code platforms is a plus
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of and some experience in marketing, social media, digital marketing, and content strategy
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- BA/BS required
In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in California. The reasonable estimate is between $70,000 and $80,000. Please note this information is specific to those hired in San Francisco. A final decision on the successful candidate’s starting salary will be based on a number of permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
