VCA Implementation Services (VIS) is a critical component of our VCA strategy, providing our clients with the execution muscle they require to deliver and implement strategic projects. VIS brings the ‘best of Visa’ to the clients, playing the role of orchestration layer between client teams and Visa subject matter experts (SMEs). As clients confront increased challenges in their operating environment whilst also facing capacity constraints and capability gaps, VIS helps to drive implementation or delivery of their strategic initiatives, facilitating significant and tangible value creation.
What a Client Consulting Analyst - does at VISA within VIS team:
The Client Consulting Analyst, for this position, is responsible for supporting the building of a Tech Delivery Center of Excellence for client engagements. A good fintech domain knowledge with hands-on-delivery experience and ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology implementations is the background expectation. The requirement is to understand and provide operational support for the below mentioned activities at hand in building a Tech Delivery Center of Excellence.
Key activities are to:
- Assist in analyzing business processes and the CoE operating model setup
- Support in standardizing the delivery frameworks, especially wrt delivery lifecycle, estimation models, sizing templates, RACI, agile ceremonies, change control, reporting and governance
- Lead collating content to build CoE metrics and roadmap building
- Lead development of reusable artifacts, reference templates, checklists, supporting turning of projects into intellectual capital, via playbooks and additional best practices wrt a CoE
- Build and maintain a knowledge portal
- Build and Maintain vendor management / performance metrics
- Support in building a fintech delivery talent, maintaining skillsets of CoE members
- Setup delivery dashboards for executive consumption
- Run post implementation reviews, retrospectives and root cause analysis
- Maintain a tracker for improvement ideas and explore ways to improve efficiency and insight
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather content to support CoE buildup
- Build good level of knowledge across Visa products and solutions with a detailed understanding and appreciation for overall strategic context, priorities, and revenue goals
- Build AI use cases along improvement opportunities identified during the course of the primary and peripheral responsibilities
- Actively partake if needed in the execution of implementation engagements
- Support a Shadow-to-lead model for new joiners
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
Qualifications
Professional Qualifications:
- 6+ years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 5 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA)
- 6 yrs experience in fintech implementations, technology consulting and/or digital transformation projects
- Foundational understanding of financial services [Payments, banking systems, risk, regulatory concepts]
- Exposure to end-to-end implementation lifecycle [requirements gathering, solution design, build, integrations, testing, go-live]
- Experience in project delivery and execution in Agile delivery model
- Experience creating and maintaining delivery artifacts
- Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation and client collateral, with experience contributing to knowledge repositories, reusable templates, playbooks and accelerators, with strong attention to detail
- Experience with analysis of data sets to identify insights, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Working knowledge of AI assisted tools
- Ability to work with cross functional teams, vendors, client and partners
- Consulting mindset- structured thinking, client first orientation and comfort with ambiguity and fast paced environment
- Quick learner and self-driven to learn new systems, navigate in ambiguity with minimal supervision
- Ownership mindset with strong follow through
- Project management certification (e.g. PMP, CAPM, Prince2 Foundation) is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
