Skills and Competencies 

  • Experience performing product analysis and supporting regulatory reporting projects within the financial services industry
  • Proven ability to work in a regulatory reporting environment leveraging Gen AI and/or Agentic AI to improve reporting efficiencies
  • Advanced skills in Excel and beginner to intermediate proficiency in SQL Experience with Alteryx, Knime, Power BI, Tableau and Visual Studio 2026 with AI capabilities is preferred
  • Proficient in using collaboration and project management tools such as SharePoint, Confluence, Miro (including templates and interactive features) and Jira Cloud dashboards forms workflow automation
  • Exposure to AWS and cloud technologies
  • Ability to gather synthesize and translate business requirements into technical and functional specifications
  • Strong knowledge of business analytics digital transformation and agile methodology
  • Demonstrated project management skills for financial data insights or infrastructure initiatives
  • Skilled in designing and building analytical features and tools with knowledge of software development best practices and methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication project and time management skills strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in teams 

 

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline with relevant work experience 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Analyze data to produce customized regulatory reports for financial services regulators
  • Independently manage projects, including the analysis of large data sets to identify trends and insights
  • Serve as the main contact for key stakeholders, liaising with agile squads and report owners to solicit and validate requirements
  • Create and optimize workflows using Gen AI, VS Code, Alteryx, and Knime to improve reporting efficiencies
  • Produce thorough, high-quality documentation such as business requirements, use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, SOPs, and playbooks
  • Resolve requirement conflicts between business units or between business and technology, with guidance from Product Strategy and Program Management leads
  • Execute Standard Operating Procedures for generating complex data reports
  • Coordinate and deliver training to support reporting solutions and go-live readiness, including user acceptance testing
  • Develop data flow diagrams for reporting integrations to aid technical design and build processes
  • Collaborate across teams—including project managers, technical leads, QA leads, and Data Management & Analytics—to ensure effective communication, issue management, and adherence to data quality requirements 

 

About the Team

Our Regulatory Reporting Product team is seeking a passionate Product Analyst to help define and deliver innovative digital solutions that support Moody’s global regulatory reporting initiatives. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who want to empower our business and compliance partners through robust data management technology. 

 

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $98,800.00-$142,800.00, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody’s also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
