- 8+ years in SDET roles with deep experience in test automation and complex integration testing within HR platforms
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript) for UI and backend test automation, including exposure to Playwright MCP and self-healing locator concepts
- Expertise with GitHub branching strategies, workflow management, pull request reviews, and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Experience using GitHub Copilot
- Java coding experience with TestNG and Cucumber BDD, with ability to work across JavaScript/TypeScript and Java
- Hands-on experience with Workday and/or SAP SuccessFactors
- Proficiency in API testing using Postman and automation frameworks, with experience in REST (GraphQL is a plus)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and exceptional communication and stakeholder collaboration
- Advanced SQL skills for database testing and data validation
- Experience with JIRA (preferably Xray), Confluence, and Git/GitHub
- Work experience with SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Ability to adapt to evolving business priorities and testing requirements
- Experience with Excel-based data analysis and reporting
- Experience with performance testing (preferred)
- Demonstrated proficiency in artificial intelligence concepts, with hands-on experience using AI tools to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Proven ability to implement AI-powered solutions to solve business challenges. Demonstrates a growing awareness of AI risk management and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related technical field preferred
- Define and execute manual and automated test cases, test plans, and test scripts for SAP SuccessFactors, Workday modules, or other internal platforms
- Execute integration testing across HR systems to ensure accurate data flow between interconnected platforms
- Perform end-to-end testing spanning UI, services, data stores, ETL jobs, and events/queues, validating key HR workflows
- Conduct API and backend testing to validate data integrity and system interactions
- Create test cases and executions using JIRA (preferably Xray)
- Document and share knowledge in Confluence
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects
- Build and maintain robust test automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript/JavaScript, ensuring code quality and repeatability
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
- Execute database testing using advanced SQL queries with focus on data mapping, transformations, and calculations
- Work closely with development, product, and integration teams to identify issues and drive resolution
- Adapt to evolving testing requirements driven by business priorities, providing timely updates and actionable improvement ideas
- Leverage AI tools for LLM‑assisted test case generation, automated test data creation, anomaly/defect prediction, self-healing locators, and autonomous test execution
