Position Summary
The ideal candidate in this position is responsible for installing and maintaining Light & Wonder gaming equipment, including electronic gaming devices/slot machines, gaming tables, card shufflers, chip sorters, computer and networking devices, and other gaming equipment at the location of the customer. Under the general supervision of the Field Service Manager and Field Service Supervisor, Field Service Techni will perform advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve problems.
Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures that tools, equipment, and company vehicle are kept in safe and working condition.
Uses mobile app to process work orders and other job-related activities.
Provides high quality service to customers across Ontario with periodic travel to other parts of Canada, Quebec and Eastern Canada.
Troubleshoot to the board or sub-assembly level using common-sense troubleshooting techniques, internal diagnostics, and functional testing with playing cards or test money.
Performs installation, re-location, and removal of gaming equipment at casinos or Bingo Halls site as scheduled.
Completes service calls and preventive maintenance on equipment at casinos or Bingo Halls as assigned.
Installs and configures server-based networked progressive systems for tables and gaming machines.
Coordinates with local IT departments to install and troubleshoot Light & Wonder’s networking equipment at customer sites.
Trains less experienced technicians on use of troubleshooting techniques.
Verifies property specifications so game options and parameters can be set accordingly.
Reviews customer issues with management and tech support.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
Skills & Requirements
Two or more years of experience in the assembly, testing, or repair of electronic devices and/or Gaming Equipment.
Must have a valid work status in Canada.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license for the province of Ontario; clean driving record.
Ability to obtain a gaming license with various Gaming Jurisdictions in Eastern Canada.
Basic mechanical assembly skills.
Basic knowledge of electricity, electronics, and mechanics of gaming devices.
Basic knowledge of computer networking and network topology.
Ability to read and understand parts and service manuals and technical bulletins.
Strong customer service skills.
Desire to lead and help others.
Problem solving skills.

If your position requires you to work in the field, production, and/or warehouse, it is mandatory that you use the approved Personal Protective Equipment. This position requires you to work 40 hours per week on-site with alternating on-call weekend shifts.
